Brian arrived on campus at the beginning of the fall semester in late August 2024. There were a handful of men who had expressed interest and received bids. None of those men chose to join Phi Gamma Delta. There are a number of reasons for this but the two biggest obstacles Brian has faced are the bad reputation of Phi Gamma Delta on campus, lingering from 2019, and the poor image of fraternities generally. Brian has worked hard to establish Phi Gamma Delta as a different sort of fraternity. He has made progress, but it is slow. Phi Gamma Delta headquarters gave Brian (and W&J) a vote of confidence by agreeing to extend his stay on campus through W&J’s spring recruitment period.
Lexington has stepped up, now it is our turn. They have committed financial resources to seeing that Phi Gamma Delta is at W&J. We need to support them. Please consider giving to the Alpha Association to support Brian’s time on campus. You can give to the Alpha Association (to support the new chapter) click here.
